& how we became a family of 4.

Jeffrey (Jeff for short, but I call him Jeffrey a lot) and I met in 2006 when we both started our first year coaching varsity girls tennis teams in the area. I coached for my high school alma mater and he happened to be the coach of our biggest rival. Our teams are ultimately responsible I think for us getting together. They would purposely try to "hook us up". They were non stop about "our coach likes your coach... " and "our coach thinks your coach is hot" -- you know how high school girls are. It was actually annoying- in the beginning. By the next tennis season, 2007 we were dating. If you read the ABOUT page,  you saw that we are quite a bit different in age. But for us, that didn't really matter. In all honesty, I feel like I am older than Jeff. They do say guys mature a lot slower... maybe he was just extra slow ;) because we really are so much alike. If you ask anyone else they would probably say it's weird how much alike we are- practically the same person. I don't ever think of him as 40-- ever. In fact, when I do think of it like that it kind of makes me chuckle.  We got engaged in early 2009, married in the summer of 2009, and had Colton near spring of 2010. It is now 2012 and we just had Braxton Joseph. We went from having just each other to having 2 little boys running around, and we wouldn't change that for the world. Bumps in the road come and go in any marriage and the joy of marriage is the joy of working through things together and being able to make it through tough times with one another. We have faced a lot in our short years together and we know this will only make us stronger in all of the years to come. Although, I am pretty sure we are done with kids now... 2 is probably good. I never thought I'd be okay with having all boys, but I'm suddenly feeling more and more okay with it ;) I'm not a big fan of being pregnant.
