Why Is My Life As Full As My DVR

You Can Always Tell How Busy A Mom Is By The Fullness of Her DVR.

Ha. Isn’t that the truth?

One time my (can’t believe I lived without you) DVR announced that it was 92% full.

This is scary people (and not just because I am missing my beloved trash tv episodes).

But no, the fullness of my digital video recorder reflects the fullness of my days.

Not having the time to free up space on my dvr to record additional shows is the same as saying I don’t have ME time to recharge.

Not having time to let go of things to allow more things in.

Just like me when I am busy to the max, a full dvr will just stop.

Stop recording.  Stop listening to your demands.  Stop making you happy. Stop doing what it is suppose to do.

It will just want to quit.  It’s full.  It is done.

Man that really is just like me.

When my schedule is at 100% capacity (or close to it) I feel like I just want to resign from all duties.  I’m not happy.  I can’t make others happy. I just want to stop the madness.  So full completing life demands  when all I really want to do is just shut down.

Turn off life, or at least just pause it.

Yep, my DVR and I have become one.  And here are some goodies that are being stored just waiting for my schedule to free up so I can free up my machine ~B

Well, that tells you who’s the busiest, obviously Denny & Brandi. They like to laugh that Jeff and I are the only people they know who are home in the middle of the day (besides Brandi’s parents.) We have abnormal work schedules so we are able to be home more than usual, and I often plan to work on days that my favorite shows are not on. ~L
